The K-Zone: AG's ref 2 (1992)
In the case to which this reference refers
([1993] QB 91 Court of Appeal), a motorist pleaded
Automatism as a defence in a charge of
causing death by reckless driving. The evidence showed
that the defendant was able to steer in a straight
line and recognize flashing lights, so the defence
should not have been allowed. Automatism requires
a `total destruction of voluntary control'.
