The K-Zone: community sentence

Under current Sentencing legislation, a criminal conviction may attract a fine (see: Finesentencing), a CustodialSentence, or a community sentence. Community sentences are generally felt to be suitable for offences less serious than those for which imprisonment is appropriate. Currently, the following community sentences are recognized.

probation
community service
combination order (i.e., a combination of the above)
action plan order
drug testing and treatment order
attendance order
supervision order
curfew
