The K-Zone: conveyance
A Deed that transfers a legal EstateInLand
from one owner to another. Modern practice
is for the buyer (or, more likely, his
legal respresentative) to write the firest draft of
the conveyance and allow the seller to ammend it
if necessary. See ConveyancingProtocol for
a discussion of this and related formalities.
Strictly speaking, in RegisteredConveyancing
the same document is called a DeedOfTransfer,
and does not act to convey the legal estate. Conveyance of
the legal title actually
takes place on registration of the transfer.
