The K-Zone: European Council
The European Council - which met for the first time in 1975
- is a summit
meeting of the
heads of government of the members states of the Community, and
sets broad policy objectives for the Community. These days it
meets about twice a year. Despite the similar names, the
European Council is not connected with the CouncilOfEurope,
and only losely with the CouncilOfTheEU.
