Caldwell lacuna
Last modified: Thu Feb 23 16:37:37 2006
To be `in the Caldwell lacuna' is to be able to rebutt a charge
of Recklessness on the grounds that one considered the
risks in all seriousness, and decided that no risk attached
to one's actions. There are few, if any, examples of this
defence being used successfully.
