Charge certificate

In RegisteredConveyancing, until the coming into force of the LRA2002, the proprietor of RegisteredLand had his LandCertificate replaced by a charge certificate when he allowed a LegalCharge (e.g., a mortgage) over the land. This practice is now defunct.
