Right to reenter
Last modified: Thu Feb 23 16:37:37 2006
In a lease, the term `right to reenter' means, essentially, a right of
the landlord to bring
the tenancy to an end, causing the tenant to forfeit what remains of the
term. It is usual for a lease to contain a term to the effect that the
landlord has such a right if the tenant defaults on the payment of
rent or certain other covenants (see LeaseholdCovenant, ForfeitureOfLease).
