servitude

A servitude is a form of PropertyRight
that falls short of full ownership, and yet is
binding on successors to Title in a
similar way to ownership. Forms of servitude
frequently encountered include the Easement,
some forms of Covenant, and the `profit'
(see: ProfitlandAndProperty).
