simple contract
Last modified: Thu Feb 23 16:37:38 2006
A simple contract is any contract (see: Contract)
other than a Contract of Record (see: ContractOfRecord)
or a contract by deed (see: ContractByDeed). A simple
contract that is written and validated by signature is
sometimes called a `contract under hand'. However, many contracts are
formed without such signature, by established practise. For example,
a contract is formed when a purchase is made from a shop, or
a railway ticket purchased.
