personal property
Last modified: Thu Feb 23 16:37:37 2006
Personal property is historically a right over anything
moveable, and now usually includes anything other than
interests in land, and fixtures and buildings on land.
See RealAndPersonalProperty for a more
detailed discussion. Personal property may be
tangible (e.g., a car or a book) or intangible.
An intangible element of personal property is
usually called a ThingInAction, or
(particularly in property law) a `chose in action'.
