Tabletop railway

Last modified: Thu Jul 8 11:53:35 2004

Here are a few photos of the tabletop railway. It isn't constructed to any particular prototype, but was just a way to experiment with track curvature and gradient, and play around with scenery building.

Overview of the tabletop railway
The coaling yard. The crane is a plastic kit from Faller: it has about 2,000 pieces, some no more than a few millimetres long. Not a job for a clumsy oaf like me: my wife built it.
The goods yard.
`Thomas' on the elevated section of track above a small station. Sorry about the poor focus on this one.
